||README VERSION 2 - LUNAR
VERSION 2 BUG FIXES AND ENHANCEMENTS|
Martial Arts Charms Not Allowed as Favored
Added new Point template item to allow you to use the Player Guide rule that states Lunars can not learn Martial Arts Charms as favored.
Also made up Point Templates that have this option on and charge you the non-favored xp cost of MA charms even when you have the MA ability chosen as favored.
Beastman Report - Beastman Move Speed
On the DBT report, the Beastman Move Speed now adds in the appropriate bonuses.
Enhanced dexerity and the gift "Lightning Speed" increase the move value to the correct amount.
Starting XP of 19 Wrong Total
When the lunar toolkit is first loaded, it includes the manidatory picks for the silver pact - 2 survival, 2 charisma and the charm "Finding the spirits shape".
This should add up to 23xp. XP of 19 is displayed.
Corrected logic to include the free ranks of survival on toolkit load up.
ALL CHARACTER TOOLKITS
Merits and Flaws
You can now add merits and flaws to your character by selecting the Merit or Flaw button on the Background Tab.
No special logic has been added for the Merits and Flaws, so none of the special bonuses will display yet.
Only point cost and listing are provided.
Martial Art Charms structure updated
Martial Art charms selected for a character will now be saved in their own table.
This change hopefully corrects a problem with exporting MA characters.
In addition, three new reports have been added for Martial Art charms.
Martial Art Styles
A new field has been added to the Charms: Martial Art Style.
This field is used by all of the existing Martial Art styles.
It assigns the style (Tiger, Mantis, etc.) to the charm so that the martial art charms can be displayed and printed by Style.
This also has its own ST Toolkit to allow you to customize your Styles.
Allow Special XP to be Negative
In the Character Toolkits, adjust the Special Experience point update to reduce the xp total.
Now, when you put in a negative number, it will reduce your xp total.
Armor Hardness Added
Armor Hardness has been added to all of the Character Toolkits, reports and the storyteller Armor Toolkit.
This is a field were you can add in the armor's hardness value when using the new rules from the Player's Guide.
Power Combat Button
A new button has been added to the Weapon tab that allows you to switch the list of
weapons back and forth between the original weapon stats and the Player's Guide Power Combat stats.
Weapon Rate now allows "/"
In order to faciliate the siege weapon stats with rates of "9/9", the slash ("/") character has been added to the allowed list of keystroke characters.
This change required the weapon rate to be change to text from numeric.
Not a simple modification.
Links to Website added in About menu
For those that want to get to my website quickly,
you can now click on the menu option to bring up your web browser and see the latest at this site.
Background Description Added
When you select a background in any of the character toolkits,
you will now also see a description of the background or the book and page the background is in.
The description will be located just to the right of the background list.
Spent Points Category Summary added
The popup window Points Spent now shows a summary to help you more accurately spend points for the PG Experience over time rules.
Martial Art Styles
A couple of new reports added to print out the Martial Arts and group them by Style.
Merit & Flaw Report
This new report lets you print out your character's merits and flaws.
Sorcery Background from Outcaste Book
Dragon-Blooded Toolkit will be have two new Background 2 options added:
"Sorcery: Lookshy Trained" and "Sorcery: Non Lookshy Trained"
All other character toolkits will have a variant of this based on the Necromancy background from the Abyssals.
The background of "Sorcery" will be added to the Background 2 section.
Since this is such a interesting background, I am anticipating demand by adding this.
This is of course completely customizable in the Point Template Toolkit.
Number of spells per rank and for the Dragon-Blooded, a cost multipler for ranks 4 and 5 in the background.
Point Template - Martial Art Cost by Circle
You can now set the cost of martial arts charms by the circle type: Terrestrial, Celestial and Sidereal.
Point Template - Ability Not Learned Point Penalty
New point template item added to all character toolkits.
You can now customize the -2 penalty to abilities totals for abilities that you have no ranks in.
Point Template - Background XP Cost
Point Template - Specialty Max Dots per Ability
Point Template - Specialty Max Dots per Specialty
Background costs for xp is now customizable.
Also, the number of dots you can select in your Specialties can also be increased up to ten.
Point Template - Starting Essence
Added a new point template item: "Essense Free SP" to allow you set the starting free essence rating.
This was previously set at two.
CHARACTER SHEET OVER 10 BACKGROUNDS & BG2
When attempting to print a character sheet with 10 or more backgrounds and at least one background 2 selected, the following error occurs:
Print_SaveToExPrintDb Error: -2147221504
clsDbPrintSolar1.SavePrintChar(-2147221504) clsDbPrintSolar1.LoadArrayChar_Background(9) Subscript out of range
Added fix to character sheet logic to cut off printing of ten backgrounds without raising a error.
ATT/DEF NOT PRINTING MULTI LINES
Attack and Defense were expanded to be no max in size.
Unfortunately I forgot to update the report.
Allow multiple lines for each of the above to print.
